Karen's voice had a very soothing sound, that I longed for during my 'hormonal' days of the '70's. It still makes me sad, yet very happy when I think of all of her songs. She had such a wonderful, & beautiful voice. Richard is such a brilliant, & talented pianist, and I am very honored, & blessed to have lived during their thriving years!! Thank you Karen & Richard Carpenter!!!!

My first ever favourite song was Yesterday Once More. I grew up on Carpenters' songs, fell in love and had girlfriends while listening to Carpenters and soothed myself during break-ups with songs like Rainy Days and Mondays, I Can Dream Can't I and Desperado.

i am 13 now and i was introduced to karen about 2 years ago..i got the movie for christmas and i had the cd lended to me by my neighbor..she was all i listened to and she is an inspiration so wonderful...i then got caught up in miley cyrus and those ppl and then the other day i listened to karen and remembered wat good music really is. GOD BLESS

I hate the intro, it makes her life appear as if it was a complete tragedy. I can't stand the voice of the narrator either, he sounds negative and grim.
