eddie i agree with the comment from ozid your an idiot i been into the cats since the 80,s lee rocker is a great slap bassist ,you ever seen them live ? i doubt it cos if you had you would know it not just talking from a fans point of view but as a musicians,i used to play drums with rockin lord lee and the outlaws a long time ago dunno if your a brit but our bassist plays with the corsaires and he loves lee

There from the US but they have an affinaty with the UK because we were having a rockabilly revival in late 70s early 80s and the americans had no interest in them so they came here and got really big (with the help of davey edmunds) so they like the uk because it got them famous really. Runaway boys was there first hit in the UK and all the original teddy boys hated them. They still freakin rock but they didnt play Gina when i saw em!

eddie burns74 u r an oxygen theif u fuckin cretin. lee rocker along with brian n slimjim put on the most powerful show in the history of rockabilly. i saw them at the old melbourne hotel in perth,western australia in1990 on acid and it was a life altering experience in the MOST positive fashion.

many of you should know that the stray cats were indeed formed in the U.S but they received little of a fan base. they heard of the rockabilly revival going on in england in the late 70's early 80's so moved across the pond. when releasing their second album it received bad reviews so they went back to the U.S

The Stray Cats are a rockabilly band formed in 1979 by guitarist/vocalist Brian Setzer (Bloodless Pharaohs/Brian Setzer Orchestra) with school friends Lee Rocker and Slim Jim Phantom in the Long Island town of Massapequa, New York.
