How is it that none of this offends me. Not Imus, not Rowland, not anyone who is STUCK on race. It seems that while the old generation continues to be pissed off, the younger generation is busy building a longstanding foundation that will last in the twenty first century. It all seems so childish. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can anger me and ruin my life forever???? lol

Rowland you just said in another clip on youtube that someone needed to listen to Wright's entire sermon but now you want to vilifly Imus for one comment that was meant to be a joke. Imus's show is a comedy show where they do jokes and skits. Wright was serious about his statement about whites and America. You lose.

it is amusing to me as an american; that a country so powerfull and so rich can't get over the racial differences. Perhaps we need not to point fingers but to knowledge that our culture needs revision; ignorance must be abolished and hypocrisy must not be on our daily calendars. c' mon people be real!

while i am not from America, i must agree with you to a certain extent. old black Americans had a much classier culture than that of the black youth and they went through so much to prove that they were human. nowadays, many youth, of every colour, take what they have for granted and dont realise what their forefathers worked for.

I'm black and I agree.Sometimes we black folks are quick to jump on any white person for their remarks, but he has been talking like this for awhile this isn't the first, but firing him wasn't necessary maybe a suspension

it is unacceptable to make derogatory remarks on air. i don't care who was the subject, it is out of place to do that. he deserves anything that comes of it. as a media personality he should know better.
