guys - i totally understand why the LOLO called her karen/gina and all that...

i'm not that retarded !! i dont understand why everyone is trying to explain this straight forward commercial. its pretty simple

Basically the girl really is Karen & she brought grandpa to Mcdo. I assumed that her grandpa's mental health has declined (as evidenced by the grandfather playing with the hanky and singing a kid folksong). He can't recognize Karen anymore & so he keeps on referring to her as "Gina". Karen tries to remind him that she is "Karen" but to no avail and she is clearly upset. Then, Lolo (grandpa) cuts the burger in half and said, "This is for my favorite granddaughter Karen." Karen, touched, smiles.
