Also, I have never found Marijuana, while "high", to make my ADD/ADHD any less. In fact, it makes it way worse. It pretty much turns me into a super crazy ADD kid, which I love being :).

However, the comedown, or being "stoned" does make extreme differences to my focus and abilty to stay on task. Also, I am yet to ingest marijuana. I will take her advice. I've smoked many a-time... I think I may try eating for treatment perhaps...

First off, to my fellow pot-smokers, this is not scientific data, or even a study, in reality it is an opinion. BUT... It is a beautiful start, and the people of the United States need to realize its government has been lying to them.

Moderation is the key. God created the things in the world to be USED, not ABUSED... so things like Meth, one time might be abuse, as for marijuana, anything above twice a day 5 days a week is abuse for me. Pot smokers need to be smart. Prove its worth.

add and adhd is total bullshit that doctors say its a cripiling diesease. its nothing more than hyperactivity. or a kid who is releasing some energy. just a reason for doctors to perscribe medication.

Chris,
You don't know what you have until you lose it. If you suddenly couldn't focus, couldn't maintain a thought process, and scatterbrained, you would understand what it's like. I'm 18 and was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 16. I was prescribed several different medications, including Methylphenidate. I have not used those drugs since 17 to treat my disorder, because I am teaching myself to overcome and live through it.

I can agree that medication is just the easy way out. But ADHD exists.
