...but not to the extent of of overly magnifying them, obsessively glorifying our own ways while disparaging everybody else's, that we end up threatening each other's existence..the most atrocious crimes in the history of mankind all had their roots in this myth of race and culture... again, we'r all the same.i see people not by their appearances or behavioral idiosyncracies, but as fellow thinking animals with ways and habits modified by their environments a bit differently from mine.

genetically, we're all of the same species, Homo Sapiens...everything about this overly fastidious business of attaching oneself to a culture or nationality , i dare say, is superficial... it's us, human beings,vis-a-vis other members of the eons-old family tree of living things... there is no scientifically identifiable distinction within any specie... Homo Sapiens Americanus, HS Filipinus, HS Russianus, etc. don't exist..yes, cultures have to be valued,out of our being sophisticated animals..
