Next President May Cut Fighter Jet Program

Back

The next president, John McCain or Barack Obama, will be a tight fisted commander in chief. That's bad news for the Air Force's push to buy scores more F-22 Raptors, a supersonic jet fighter designed to dominate enemy airspace. (Sept. 30)

You're a hypocrite and a liar!

You say "Obama wants to disarm America", and now you say "he's my President and I'll give him the benefit of the doubt"; which one is it?!

You could have given him the benefit of the doubt while he was running for office, which tells me you don't really believe your own ignorant anti-Obama rant in the first place.

When some one talks like you I automatically know they're a few fries short of a happy meal.

Conservatism is dead, MY FRIEND; get used to it!

Keep on dreaming, douche bag.

I don't have to dream; all I have to do is look at the map. It's a reality!!!

My guy's in office; who's the douche bag now?

I agree with the statement at the end. Deficits in a recession are not necessarily a bad thing, and the military-industrial complex is a main stay of the American economy.

Building more fighter jets means more jobs; but then again, we could also use that money to build factories that produce alternative sources of energy; get off oil; and as a result, be less likely to have to go to war in the future. Or, we can stop the corporate hand-outs and do both.

whats the actual cost or is it top secret? I've heard 100m to 200m but what is it?
odessaboy (December 3, 2008 at 5:48 am)
The highest i've heard was 361 million when the air force dropped its purchase down to 80.

When the went back up to 180 it went down considerably.

The funny thing is, they were originally slated to build about 750 at a unit cost of about eighty million a piece. The more you drop the number purchased, the higher the price goes.

in 1980 a boy called "jimmy tooth" was riding across the road on his bike. A car hit him. he got up and got knocked down again. 7 times. the 7th time he lay dead. his last words were " the whole world....7 chances"
now you have read this the essence of Jimmy is with you. He is now giving you 7 chances, well, seven videos...
copy and paste this onto 7 videos or you will have 30 mins a chance,7 chances. 3.5 hours of pain.
then you will die on the floor with your eyes open.
