I do not understand why everybody is so crazy about NGE coz it is not that thoughtful. The main theme is teenage problems and all the stuff like robots and angels are just decorations to make it interesting to watch

in its time? it has been shaping anime sense its inception realy besides all companys want their own NGE, a cash cow, while the fact that NGE products are still being produced today facinates and disgusts, at least I care for what made the series brilliant. Enjoy your mundane and low-brow entertainment but leave your ill imformed opinions to yourself.

and have no idea what sarcasm is. to each there own..... you dont have to like it but dont judge it without at least trying to understand it, most people like yourself would make a half assed attempt and just give up. I never said NGE was perfect, I enjoy it for going beyond other animes and entertainment while still remaining true to its thesis, what can I expect from the ADD generation....... all everyone cares about in entertainment is comedy and action.... no true substance.

Fanboyism aside, it's worth it for the ride, but if you enjoy the ride then the ending will leave a bitter taste in your mouth for a long time to come.
