They totally ruined comebakc of G1's combining teams. In G1 each component had own personality and they weren't always in combined form. Exampel Superion Maximus or in G1 Maximus/aerialbots skill to combine was their secondary benefit. The real benefit was their flying skill. Watch G1's Superion or any other combining team to Energon's and you notice the difference.
